The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild features numerous intricate puzzles, but few are as charming as the Recital at Warbler's Nest shrine quest. Located in the picturesque Tabantha region near Rito Village, this musical challenge requires players to reunite five young Rito sisters before solving an ancient acoustic riddle. Completing this endeavor reveals the hidden Voo Lota Shrine, making it a memorable milestone for adventurers exploring Hyrule.
Gathering the Five Rito Sisters
The quest begins in Rito Village after resolving the Divine Beast Vah Medoh storyline. Players first speak with Kheel at Warbler's Nest, who expresses frustration that her sisters have missing singing practice. To move forward, Link must locate the remaining sisters scattered around the village and gather the necessary items to motivate them.
Preparing the Special Meal
One sister named Genli refuses to sing until she receives her favorite dish, Salmon Meuniere. The other sisters aid in acquiring the ingredients, which include Goat Butter, Tabantha Wheat, and Hearty Salmon. Once Link cooks the meal at a nearby cooking pot and delivers it to Genli, the full choir finally gathers at the performance site.
Solving the Wind and Stone Puzzle
At Warbler's Nest, the sisters perform a melody where each note corresponds to a specific pillar surrounding the central pedestal. Each pillar features a distinct number of rock spires that represent its musical pitch. Link must use a Korok Leaf to blow wind through the pillars in the exact sequence sang by the sisters, which is four, five, three, one, and two.
Unlocking the Ancient Shrine
Executing the correct sequence causes the ground to tremble as the ancient Voo Lota Shrine rises from the earth. The sisters celebrate their successful rehearsal before returning safely back home to Rito Village. Players can then enter the shrine to tackle The Winding Route trial and claim another Spirit Orb.
